I used a Sony CX250 to record the 44 bus route which went to Willerby. This was convenient as it was my journey home. The quality of the camera wasn't great, although it was HD quality, this did not impact the quality of the footage though as it doesn't need to focus on specific features, just recording a journey. As there would be different colours edited in to the footage also, this would draw away any attention from the quality of the recording.
The weather was really sunny, therefore reflecting the camera lens on to the window, this was a problem as when editing the footage, the lens flare could not be edited out; on the Wolf Alice 'Bros' video, there is no lens reflection.
The journey was approximately 20 mins travelling 3.3 miles, we then sped it up by about x4 in order to make the footage about the same time as the original music video, this shortens the journey massively.
This is a handheld tracking shot, this could convey chaos and a fun, spontaneous, outgoing atmosphere following the alternative rock genre of Wolf Alice. Therefore I replicated this shot and didn't move.
The bus stops every 2 minutes which represents a natural setting, as it's a real-life bus journey, the cars travelling by and people walking past also creates this.
